Dafovska Hotel is located 800 m from the ski lift in the central part of Pamporovo resort. The hotel offers beautiful scenery from the rooms towards the ski slopes, Snezhanka peak and the Rhodope mountain.

Wine and Dine:
The restaurant /60 seats/ serves Bulgarian and international specialties. The Lounge bar offers various drinks and snacks.

Lobby bar, sauna, Jacuzzi, steam cabin, beautiful view to the ski runs, free of charge parking, game machine.

The owner of the hotel is Ekaterina Dafovska - the most successful Bulgarian ski athlete - the Olympic winner in Biathlon from OWG Nagano '98. Dafovska brand is known for 15 years among the world ski elite with the world classification, won medals and titles in different types of sport.

Sent on 06 March 2019I wanted to write a proper review of our hotel and experience while in Pamporovo, so this is the addition to my email. We flew to Sofia and the pre booked taxi transport was waiting for us. The driver (Kosta) was wonderful and we felt really safe with him driving. Our flight was late and we arrived to the Dafovska hotel after midnight. The reception was open and they were waiting for us. We were given sandwiches and water and shown to our room. The rooms were spacious and warm, the beds comfortable, bathroom lovely and clean. Plenty of hot water, the towels were changed every day and bins emptied. The hotel has Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room which is 12 leva per person with towels. I would have liked the water in the Jacuzzi to be a bit warmer. We went in every day after skiing, apart from one when we tried a different hotel. Snezanka hotel has a swimming pool too. Its ok but it was too busy for us and we decided to stick with ours. Their changing rooms are very very small and you have to pay extra for the towels. We chose half board. There was many things to choose for breakfast, hot food, pancakes, fruit, cereal & toast. Apple & orange juice as well as many teas and coffees. I have to admit I always take my own tea bags . Not having to cook dinner after a day skiing was very welcome. There isn’t really a great choice for strict vegetarians, but I always managed to find tasty food to eat. You can buy drinks from the bar, or bring your own. There is a free shuttle bus that takes you to ski centre Malina. Very busy ski centre. We met with the representative Nelly there. I would have preferred to have the information on what time to be where when we arrived. Nelly organised our helmets (you need to rent this separately, 5 leva per person), ski equipment and our instructor. Well! I cannot give more glowing review for our instructor! Alex was amazing, very patient, very friendly and knowledgeable. We had lessons in the morning, then lunch, which he was very good to organise with the local bar, then another set of lessons. The food in the bars by the ski school and at the top of the slope was very good. Big portions, quickly delivered. I only needed soup at lunch time which were homemade and delicious. Staff, at the ski centre and gondolas, didn’t always speak a lot of English or smile enough but they were never the less very helpful especially with children and beginners. We skied on our last day too and we were picked up from the hotel by a taxi to be taken to the airport. This taxi driver was not so careful and good at driving and we could not wait to get to Sofia and get out of his car. The whole organisation of our trip with BulgariaSki was excellent! The owner Dafovska is so friendly and hard working and the hotel itself is clean and the rooms (even studio rooms) are large with nice balconies. I am from New Zealand and living in the UK and I will definitely be back. Blagodaria!! (thank you in Bulgarian) -

Sent on 09 February 2013Ενα πολύ καλοβαλμένο ξενοδοχείο, με τεράστια δωμάτια και απολύτως παραδεκτή τροφοδοσία. Ζεστό και χωρίς να λείπει τίποτα . ?έα στο βουνό , κοντά στην μικρή αγορά του χιονοδρομικού κέντρου. Το μίνι μπας πάντα στην ώρα του και δωρεάν η μεταφορά στην βάση των λίφτς. Να προβλέψετε αποθήκευση του σκι εξοπλισμού σας στην βάση των λίφτς για να μην τα κουβαλάτε κάθε μέρα. Οι πίστες πολύ φροντισμένες καθημερινά και όχι όπως στο Μπάνσκο εγκαταλελημμένες στο έλεός τους. -

Sent on 14 November 2010The Dafovska is a lovely hotel, the staff are very polite. The food is traditional Bulgarian, but of very good standard. The rooms are fairly small, but very clean with average storage. We stayed here in March 2009, the snow that year was fantastic, with PLENTY of powder. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family without hesitation. -

Sent on 14 February 2010My family love this hotel. It is a family run hotel and is much quieter than the bigger hotels. The owners and staff are very helpful and make every attempt to ensure your stay is great. If you want a livelier evening then a few steps away from your hotel are all the popular bars, but if you just want a quiet evening having a drink and a chat then the small bar area is very comfortable to sit in. The rooms are a good size and clean and have wonderful views from the balcony. We will be going back again next year, so I think that says it all. -

Staff very friendly, rooms nicely decorated and clean, small bar area downstairs comfortable and drinks prices half what charged in other hotels. We had a family room with a double bedroom and a double sofa bed in lounge area, although the mattresses on both looked very thin, we slept well every night. Fantastic views from windows. Dont want to oversell this hotel, since dont want it to be fully booked when we go back next year! But it was lovely. -

Sent on 13 January 2009This is a lovely little hotel. The rooms are fantastic (we stayed in an apartment/family room - well worth the extra money). Very centrally located, directly opposite the Perelik. Staff are very friendly -from the owners to the maids. Beer is also the cheapest in Pamporovo! -

Sent on 22 March 2007Visited the Dafovska hotel, last week (15th March), it is absolutely beautiful, so clean and tidy the rooms are better than the Hotel Pamporovo where we were staying and the staff so helpful and friendly. The hotel is opposite the Perelik so close to all the amenities and is independently run as apposed to most hotels in Pamps. The bar is a quarter of the price of all the other hotels, a beer costing less than 2 levs!!! This hotel has been rated 3 star at present but am sure it will be a 5 star before long, its a pity that the tour operators may use it next year as at present they dont. You wont be dissapointed staying here.

Cancellations:
For the periods 01.12.2024 - 29.12.2024; 03.01.2025 - 31.03.2025 - up to 8 days before the date of arrival. For cancellations after this period a penalty of 2 nights of the reservation;
For the period 30.12.2024 - 02.01.2025 up to 20 days before the arrival date. For cancellations after this period a penalty of 100% of the reservation;
* Force majeure:
In the conditions of a pandemic and declaration of a state of emergency or epidemiological situation by the competent authorities in the Republic of Bulgaria or the country from which the tourists come, as a result of which the borders are temporarily closed and / or suspended the provision of the services, inability to reach Bulgaria and use the services in hotels, ski packages and transfers such as flight ban, temporary restriction of travel, quarantine and the like, we will provide the tourists with the following options for compensation:
1. Opportunity for the clients to change the reservations with another date of travel in the period until 01.04.2021, and in a long enough time they will inform about the desired dates of accommodation. This will be done by changing the reservation and cancelling the previous reservation free of charge. It is also possible to change the persons on the reservation.
2. Possibility to use the amount paid for each reservation as a credit voucher for value, whereby the money of the tourist will be transferred for future use of a tourist package or tourist service. The validity of the credit voucher, the period in which it can be used is 24 months from the date of issue. This value voucher can be transferred for use to a third party following the relevant procedure.
3. Opportunity to refund the funds within 12 months after the end of the State of Emergency, according to the legal provisions with the issuance of a credit notice to the invoice.
* Children reductions are applicable for children 2-11.99 years valid at the time of the reservation (check in time).

The Dafovoska in Pamporovo is excellent value on a half board basis, it is smaller than a lot of the other hotels with a small lobby bar. I'd happily return & book through BulgariaSki again.
Pretty good experience, Dafovska is a small hotel but quite cosy. Rooms are spacious and clean, but have only the basic stuff. Bathroom is clean and spacious, but might lack a shelf or two where you could put your stuff. Food selection is not as rich compared to other hotels but on the other hand it was outstandingly tasty and well prepared (perhaps the best compared to 5-6 similar hotels I visited in Bulgaria). Staff is friendly and attentive. I'd return to this hotel any time.
