Just came back from Sevlievo in Bulgaria. Drove up to Hotel Impulse in Uzana where I hired skis, boots and poles for myself and two children for just 17 levs for adult and 10 levs each child and used the hotel ski slope 5 levs each. Perfect for the kids first time as parking right at entrance to hotel and slope is 20m walk! Food in restaurant tasty and cheap. Perfect for beginners!

A great place for beginners and experts alike. The novice piste is manned by Emil who is very knowledgeable about skiing and has lots of helpful tips. There are several other runs which are well maintained and are great value for money. It is an average of 10lv per day for the lifts. During the week it is so quiet there were only 8 of us on the piste last week, but weekend are crowded

Having lived in bulgaria for nearly two years, i only recently found this most amazing and beautiful place two weeks ago. It is only 40km from where I live yet very unspoilt. We stayed in the hotel shaped like three triangles.. It was very reasonable at 60lv per night which included breakfast of a continental style. there was a bulgarian folk dancing room, which was very lively , but also a disco which was open very late, and childrens playrooms etc. altogether a great experience. Another thing was the surprise of the 20 husky sleigh dogs. what an amazing experienc;e. Please go and try it out. You will not regret it.
