Bansko opens the new ski season on December 14, 2013

The three-time Olympic and two-time world ski champion Alberto Tomba will announce the start of the ski season in Bansko. The Italian genius will be the special guest at the official opening of the ski season in Bansko on December 14, 2013. Alberto Tomba will ski down the ski slope named after him in 2003 – Alberto Tomba.

Marc Girardelli. Petar Popangelov, Luke Laffan and Jure Košir will also attend the opening ceremony in the resort.

Ulen LTD will shortly announce a weekend of events, planned for the "official opening" inlcuding live band performances plus former legends of the skiing world participating in a range of races for charity.

Additionally, the gondola station will start operating on December 1st, 2013.
