The snow cover in the mountains is over 13 cm

The snow cover at the highest parts of the mountains in Bulgaria is over 13 cm. It is still snowing across the country and temperatures are expected to drop during the next days.

The snow cover at Todorka and Platoto ski are in Bansko is over 10 cm after the heavy snowfall during the last 24 hours. The temperatures dropped to -6 degrees and the installations for artificial snow automatically started operating. 280 snow cannons will guarantee the perfect snow cover on the slopes in Bansko this winter.
The gondola lift is already operating.

Pamporovo ski resort also reported a heavy snowfall during the last 24 hours. The resort announced that the official opening of the ski season this winter will be held on December 15, 2012.

Borovets ski area also reported a snow cover of over 10 cm in the highest parts of the mountain.
