Pamporovo ski centre invested 4 million BGN for improvements including a cartomat system, snow grooming machines, artificial snow making system and lift renovation.
Pamporovo offers the best artificial snow making system in Bulgaria
Pamporovo will offer the best artificial snow this season, announced the executive director of “Pamporovo” JSC Marian Belyakov. This season the perfect snow cover in the resort is guaranteed by 120 snow making cannons.
The ski slopes were also improved and the narrow sections were extended for the comfort of skiers. A new snow grooming machine was bought, to guarantee the excellent quality of the ski slopes.
The lifts are in excellent technical conditions and the resort is ready for the new skiing season.
The improvements for the new ski season were estimated at 4 million BGN.
This winter the resort will offer a cartomat system, which will allow skiers to skip long queues and use debit cards. The cartomats are already installed at Malina, Studenets ski centres and Orlovets hotel.
A brand new information system is also placed at the main ski centres, which will show real time information for the weather conditions in the mountain at. The digital information walls will provide information for all ski slopes and the lifts in the resorts.
Lift 5 from Malina ski centre to Snejanka is completely renovated. Additional 3 000 metres safety net and mattresses were installed at the ski centre.
