Borovets registered a record long skiing season

Keen skiers and snowboarders had the chance to make the final downhill for the season by the beginning of May.
Borosport announced a successful winter season due to the heavy snowfall and the perfectly groomed ski slopes in the resort. The resort boasts with a 15 % increase in the number of tourists.

For the next skiing season Borosport plans to invest 40 million Euro in renovation and development of the resort infrastructure.
The artificial snow making system at ski zone Sitnyakovo (the central ski slopes in front of the Rila hotel) will be developed. New cannons for artificial snow will be installed everywhere in the resort.

For a third year in a row, the resort authorities will continue developing the newest attraction in the resort – Borosport Snow Park. The snow park will offer additional elements and configurations for beginners. It will be serviced by tow drag lifts.

Meanwhile the resort is ready for the forthcoming summer season. Following the ambitious idea to transform Bororvets into a year round resort for active tourism, Borosport develops different summer activities and attractions. Mountain tours, a mountain bike park, jeep safari, rope town, kids club Borolandia and more adventures for everyone.
