Finally heavy snow in Pamporovo and Chepelare BulgariaSki.com, 20.12.2011 After the official opening of the ski season with artificial snow, there is finally real snow cover in the resorts, which has reached 20 cm. The forecast is quite optimistic for the ski centres Mechi Chal and mount Snejanka. The government will donate 850 000 leva for the international ski competition starts in January, in Pamporovo. Also, a national championship for students will be held on 19th and 20th December in the Rhodope mountains.
