An excellent opportunity for everyone who “can't wait” is the snow fiesta in Borovets ski resort which will take place on 18th December this weekend. The organizers plan to offer a snowy and funny holiday . The organizers from Borosport and Concept Creative have prepared interesting surprises and gifts for everyone, to keep the good mood of everyone on the slopes. This year we expect loads of snow, as it has already started snowing all over Bulgaria. The new snow installation on Borovets will take care of the excellent snow cover on the slopes throughout the whole season. Two huge ski jumps will be placed on the platform in front of the Rila hotel and all keen freestylers will be able to try them, supported by a huge air bag. Everyone can try their abilities on the airbag, with the sole condition to wear helmets. A special trace for sledge downhill will be constructed for the youngest guests of the resort. The equipment is provided by Olympos. The company will reward the best downhills and the best shot taken with Olympus photo camera. Another sledge trace will give a chance to adults to try new models sledges, provided by Scott Bulgaria. The opening of the ski season in Borovets coincides with the International day of snowboards. Every one keen on freestyle sports will have the chance to celebrate on a special zone with the cooperation of BASFES. The lift cards during the weekend will be at half price and the night skiing on 18th is free. This year the price of the lift card sold on spot at the resort will stay the same. Borosport has prepared many surprises for all guests of the resort. Except the new installations at the Sitnyakovo ski zone, which will take care for the sufficient snow, there are also other improvements, as new and better connections between the slope and more parking lots.
