Snow report from Bulgaria The official opening of the new winter season in Borovets will be on December 23, 2006. Today the average temperatures in the mountain regions of Bulgaria will be -4. Snow is falling in Bansko, Borovets and Pamporovo. The snow canons in Bansko have already prepared a solid base for the snow cover on the slopes and currently piste N 8 is available for skiing, serviced by a drug lift.
