Location: Bansko hotel is situated 1500 m from the Gondola ski lift in Bansko resort. The hotel offers transport to the ski lift.

    We stayed at this hotel December 28th 2008 for 1 week and would recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff were pleasant and helpful, the hotel was very clean and the furnishings, room and bathrooms lovely. There are a few channels on the T.V for the kids to watch but after a long day skiing we chilled out at the pool/spa which again was great. We had been to a beach holiday around 10 years ago and this hotel in Bulgarian standards is superb. We didnt originally book this hotel our holiday was changed 5 weeks before hand. We have 2 children 7 & 9 and thoroughly enjoyed our ski holiday - this standard of hotel was a bonus. The breakfast & meals were lovely although as in any European restraunt we have been to the hot food is always luke warm, other than that which seems to be the norm, we had no complaints whatsoever

    myself and my family stayed at the bansko hotel from the 10th january til the 17th the room we stayed in was room 112 this room was a good room comprising of two double beds one in its room and one in the lounge area . the lobby bar was opened from 11.00 til 23.00 hours , the hotel it self was very nice and clean, room service was done every day and bed lining was changed once a week . There was a free bus on a daily bases to the ski slopes these run every half hour . The only thing that lets the hotel down is the very poor quality of food. we only ate once in the hotel resturant thoughtout our visit . the food that was offered was often cold and tasteless and sometimes seemed to be what was left over from the previous night.

    Was there in April 2008. It's very pleasant, the rooms are big and modern, esp. the bathroom is spacious and bright, very clean with a nice pool and sauna area. Free internet in the bar and very nice all around. Definitely a place I would recommend and plan to visit again.

    Preis-Leistung ist optimal. Freundliches Personal. Sehr sauber. Grosse freundliche Zimmer. Nettes Spa-Center. Sauna und Pool angenehm. Freier Internetzugang. Insgesamt empfehlenswert. Auch im Sommer.

    The Hotel Georgi! This two star rated hotel is basic but, clean. The hotels only advantage is the close proximity to the gondalas which are a 5 minute walk. The accomodation consists of single beds in cramped rooms. The ensuites are typical continental with many rooms having tight spaces incorporating the WC and the showering facilities with sloped floors for the shower run off. The restaraunt in the hotel leaves little to the imagination with Bulgarian food being the mainstay. THe menu is extremely limited and the staff are not really ready to handle non Bulgarian speakers. I found it difficult to get any information/ points of view across as the language barrier was greater than the Topflight daily meal allowance. Overall though the ski resort is brilliant and the ski school very well organised. If you have a choice do not take the Georgi hotel as your accomodation as many hotels located further away operate bus services to the Gondalas. Five stars for the skiing -2stars for the hotel. Shane

    We stayed at the hotel Perun in Bansko, great hotel, friendly and helpful staff, the only downside is that you cannot get breakfast till 8 oclock which makes you late to the Gondola, ther than that fantastic

    Bansko, is an excellent place to visit and the ski instructors were excellent in teaching the beginners to ski, the resort/hotels are very family run and have that personal touch. People here are very geniune and always willing to help. Very nice winter resort.

    My son and me spent our holiday in Bansko hotel Elegant. It is a very nice hotel nearby the skilift. Very nice rooms and great swimmingpool and sauna. People there were very kind and helpfull.

    I think this hotel provides luxury and confort. It`s located on a good pace and has a nice view, I like it and I hope to be able to visit it again.
